Facility Rental

Need to rent a space for an event?

Thank you for your interest in using a space for your next event. If you are curious about seeing a particular space first, just let us know.

 

The Process

  1. Submit your request

  2. Receive confirmation if request is approved or denied

  3. Receive an agreement and invoice to sign and pay.

  4. When the agreement and payment are received, you'll receive further instructions from one our team members about the details on the day of the event.

Rental Information

  • Cost and Room Info:

    • Atrium 

      • Capacity: 200-300

      • $50/hour

      • Projector and TV's with HDMI connection for presentations

      • 200 capacity with banquet tables

      • 300 capacity without tables

    • Worship Center​

      • Capacity: 250

      • $50/hour

      • Requires trained personnel for audio/visual​​

    • Atrium Classroom​

      • Capacity: 40​

      • $25/hour

      • TV's with HDMI connection for presentations

    • Mod Building Classroom​

      • Capacity: 30​

      • $25/hour​

      • TV's with HDMI connection for presentations

  • Additional Costs:​

    • Custodial fee: $20

    • Audio/Visual: Free in all rooms except Worship Center. Worship Center $20/hr (requires trained personnel)

  • Rentals are only available to church members for personal events and outside organizations.

  • Organizations must provide a certificate of insurance which names the organizations as the name insured.

  • Rental Requests must be submitted at least 2 weeks prior to event and no more than 12 months in advance.

  • Alcohol, smoking (including vaping and medicinal marijuana), and illegal drugs are strictly prohibited on the church property.

  • The doors will be open to you 15 minutes prior the starting time you designate in the Facility Rental Form

  • The renter is responsible for the following:

    • set-up & breakdown

    • supplying own plates, cups, napkins, utensils, etc.

    • general clean up of space used

    • returning everything to the way it was received

    • payment for damage or broken items

Policy

Mountain View Baptist Church facilities exist as evidence of God’s benevolence and the sacrificial generosity of past and present Mountain View Baptist Church families. Mountain View Baptist Church desires that its facilities be used for the continuing fellowship of the Body of Christ and to bring God glory in accordance with its Mission and Vision. Although our facilities are not generally open to the public, we make our facilities available to approved individuals and groups in a spirit of Christian charity, and as a means of demonstrating the Gospel of Jesus Christ in practice.

Facility use will not be permitted to individuals or groups holding, advancing, or advocating beliefs or practices that conflict with Mountain View Baptist Church’s faith statement or moral teachings, which are summarized in its Mission, Vision and Identity Statements. Nor may Mountain View Baptist Church facilities be used for activities that contradict, or are deemed inconsistent with, Mountain View Baptist Church’s faith statement or moral teachings. The Senior Pastor, or his official designee, is the final decision-maker concerning use of Mountain View Baptist Church facilities.

This restricted facility use policy is necessary for two important reasons. First, Mountain View Baptist Church may not in good conscience materially cooperate in advancing activities or beliefs that are contrary to its sincerely held religious beliefs. Allowing its facilities to be used for purposes that contradict its beliefs and would constitute a grave violation of the religious beliefs sincerely held and supported by Mountain View Baptist Church.

Secondly, we believe it is important that Mountain View Baptist Church present a consistent message to the community, and that Mountain View Baptist Church conscientiously maintain that message as part of its Christian witness. Allowing facilities to be used by groups or individuals who express beliefs or engage in practices contrary to the Mountain View Baptist Church Mission and Vision would have a severely negative impact on the message that Mountain View Baptist Church strives to promote. In addition, it could cause confusion and scandal to families, staff members, volunteers and the community who may reasonably believe that use of our facilities constitutes or supports agreement with the beliefs or practices of individuals or groups using Mountain View Baptist Church facilities.

Therefore, in no event will individuals or groups who hold, advance, or advocate beliefs, or engage in practices that contradict Mountain View Baptist Church’s Mission and Vision use any Mountain View Baptist Church facility. This policy applies to all Mountain View Baptist Church facilities and properties.
