Why should I celebrate Easter at Mountain View Baptist Church?

Easter at Mountain View is a celebration for the whole family, with a free breakfast at 10 a.m. and activities for the kids during each service. If you choose to join us online, we'll have virtual greeters on hand so you still feel like you're celebrating with friends.

What about my kids?

We have Easter activities planned for your kids during both the 9 and 11 a.m. hours so mom and dad can enjoy the service while the kids do their own thing. The kids ministry is open for infants through sixth graders. Because we value your children's safety, we have a detailed check-in process for our Mountain View Kids program the first time you visit. You’ll want to leave yourself an extra five minutes to get signed in. Your middle and high school students are invited to join us in the main Easter service.

What COVID-19 precautions are you taking?

Masks are required during the 9 a.m. service but optional during the 11 a.m. service. We are asking you to sign up in advance for the service you would like to attend so that we can make sure there is adequate space in both services. During the fellowship breakfast, food will be prepared safely, and tables will be set up inside the atrium and outside on the patio, so you can eat where you feel most comfortable. If you aren't ready to join us in-person, please worship with us online at at 9 or 11 a.m.

What is a service like at Mountain View?

Our services are one-hour long. Service will begin with live music led by our worship team. Lyrics will be projected onto a screen so that you can sing along or engage however you feel most comfortable. The time of singing will be followed by a short message about the victory experienced in Jesus. The community at Mountain View is friendly and casual. Many people enjoy dressing up a bit for Easter with sundresses or polo shirts — but Tucson casual is also totally welcome.

Where should I park?

Don't be alarmed if you don't see open parking spaces in the front lot. If you head back behind the church, you'll find a huge lot with plenty of spaces — including a few lucky ones shaded by trees.

How can I watch online?

You have several options to livestream the service at both 9 and 11 a.m. Watch at, on our Mountain View Baptist Church Facebook page or on YouTube.

Will there be an Easter egg hunt?

To minimize contact, there will not be an Easter egg hunt this year.
