Celebrate hope

If you're in need of hope, you'll find it on Easter morning at Mountain View.

We go big for Easter, with egg hunts for kids and a free breakfast.

But the real centerpiece of the day is celebrating the hope and grace we find in Jesus. And we're doing that with two services at 9 and 11 a.m. Each service includes live music and a hope-filled message.

Come experience this memorable morning with your family and see why the resurrection of Jesus is the best news ever.

  • What does Christmas Eve at Mountain View look like?
We look forward to our candlelight Christmas Eve service every year. This all-ages service celebrates the birth of Jesus with familiar Christmas carols and a hopeful message from a pastor. It concludes with the glow of dozens of flickering candles held high. It's a magical night. This year we're offering two times to enjoy a candlelight service at 4:30 or 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve, Tuesday, Dec. 24 in the worship center, (the front building with the large cross). The worship service is one-hour long and includes live music and a message from our pastor. We'll have a hot chocolate bar set up for you to enjoy before and after the worship service. We also suggest getting here a few minutes early to make sure your party can easily find seats. You can also participate in our Christmas Eve service from home. Catch the livestream at mvbctucson.online.church or on our YouTube channel: MVBCTucson.
  • How long is the church service?
In total, a Mountain View worship celebration is about 60 minutes in length. Services begin with the church worship band leading the congregation in music. Song lyrics are projected onto screens so you can sing along and engage with the music however you feel most comfortable. After the music portion of service is complete, a pastor will share an encouraging, hope-filled message from the Bible. Pro Tip: We will have a hot chocolate bar set up before the service, so come a few minutes early to grab a drink and save your seat.
  • What about my kids?
Our Christmas Eve service is a celebration for the whole family, so your kids are invited to join you to sing Christmas carols and celebrate the birth of Jesus. We will not have any kids ministry on Tuesday, Dec. 24 at either service, so please plan to celebrate with the whole family. We will have free activity bags available in the worship center lobby to keep your kids engaged during the service. For more information about Mountain View's kids' ministry, head over to mvbctucson.org/kids.
  • Where should I park?
There are dedicated guest parking spots near the front of our parking lot — but if you arrive and don't seen any available spots, don't worry! There is a large parking lot on campus just behind the church buildings.
  • What should I wear?
Christmas services are a celebration, so you'll see people dressed up a bit more. However, you can still expect to see a range of styles at our worship services, from jeans and T-shirts to suits and dresses. Wear what makes you comfortable, and bonus points if it's festive.
